MBA is intended to encompass all phases of Mass Spectrometry SELDI data analysis using both classical as well as the most recent and advanced methods. MBA offers state-of-the-art analytical methods blended with attractive data visualization, and reporting capabilities.

MBA is a complete web data analysis system. But it is also thought as a prototype of forthcoming MBS software from MedicWave.

Currently available are the following analyses:

• Descriptive analysis and visualization (different variants: one-, two- and multi-dimensional analysis)
• Biomarker detection methods based on feature rankings
• Classification Cancer / Control (with performance evaluation)
• Cluster analysis (clustering either samples or features)

Currently, tools for pre-processing SELDI data are not included in MBA. We recommend to use PDS software from MedicWave for this purpose.
